It's time again for a year review!

2025 has been a wild year. And I know, I say this about almost every year, but 2025 was even more wild than any year before. So many things happened!!!

I moved together with my spouse and we did a lot of travelling. I finished some long-term projects and feel overall very happy about how this year was going. Let's take a look back on my goals for this year, how they worked out and what my goals are for the upcoming year!

Let's start with the KleederBros channel. Things went a little more silent on there. After starting Super Mario 3D Wörld and continuing Minecraft, I had to move my focus a little away from that channel due to some more important events taking place (more about those later). That's the main reason why both projects got paused in the middle of the year and the only project we still uploaded weekly was our Podcast.

My main goal for the next year is to continue both Mario and Minecraft, as well as finishing Mario and picking up the long-lost Duel series again. Other than that, there are no goals for this channel, because of all the other things I still have planned and which i regard as a higher priority for myself. Let's move on!

Apart from a small little summer break, I continously uploaded content to my music channel and I will continue to do so in 2026. Nothing crazy to share about this.
A little music-related goal is to make my Bandcamp page "better" again. I'm currently not sure what exactly I even mean by that, but I know that things can't stay how they are right now. I did so much more music in the past years and my Bandcamp doesn't reflect that at all. Then again, I don't want to spam it with compilations again as I did a few years ago. I am still working on a good concept for this.

On battle of the bits, I want to focus fully on submitting as many entries as possible to the once-in-a-decade battle Decadent Decade II, which will run until April. After that, I have a bigger track/album to work on and if I finish that relatively quick, I have another cool album planned for later this year.

What else did I talk about in my previous year review...? Ah right! The Let's Play channel with its infamous Undertale Yellow Project. I don't think I want to make any more promises regarding this one. It is still not cancelled, just paused. But who knows when we will actually sit down and record more of it.

A big thing I did, and that's also mostly the reason why some other projects (KleederBros and KleederLP) were cut short, is travelling. I already talked about this in the previous blog a little, but let's go over it again:
I had the plan to travel to every german state this year together with my spouse. And we almost did! Technically, we only missed Bavaria! In reality though, we had to skip all of South Germany as well as an in-depth visit to NRW and Berlin, because my spouse broke their ankle during our visit to the Pfälzerwald.
Things had to get replanned to 2026 and so we only travelled through NRW, Berlin and BaWü instead of actually spending much time there. Things like these are not planable and that's okay. I used the sudden free time to work on some other things, so that's still cool. And my spouse is doing much better already. We can definitely continue our travels next year!
We had a lot of great moments together this year though. Especially our England visit was amazing, for which I just finished a VLOG, you can check it out here.

Other travel plans for next year include more little day trips in our region and a bigger vacation to Finland and the Baltic States! More on this soon, when I actually did some more in-depth planning!! :D

I am also happy to announce that I finally made the Worldmap on this website obsolete by replacing it with FindPenguins! You can find all the trips by Mioh and me on there (and more!) and I will continue to add more content over there. It is so much easier to maintain than a custom solution on my own website, so here we are!

Another thing that you probably noticed already is a new page design including a new banner made by my spouse, mioh! It replaces the old banner made by Tobikomi. Here you have the old banner:

Isn't it cute? I love it! It shows me as a plof working on multiple projects at once! I would say this is pretty accurate and close to how it is in reality too! :D

There are some other 2026-goals I made for myself, but they are more private and won't affect my online presence much, so let's skip these here.

The attentive reader might have noticed that I didn't talk about written projects at all today. And there is a reason for that. I will get to that in a future blog post. Be patient and excited for it!!

For now, this should be it. I am super happy to say that I reached almost all of my 2025 goals, apart from the travel one, which we will take care of as soon as my spouse can walk around again freely. c:
I am super excited to see how 2026 will work out and if I manage to reach my goals.
